I am very happy that I could participate in this international youth exchange. Many thanks to Abarka team and my sending organization ITE for this opportunity. I know my participation was an exception of rules and I could see my son satisfied and accepted.
The program was varied and interesting, especially the national evenings of the various different participating countries. I liked degustation of typical products and dances. At the lecture with the professor from the Don Bosco school I learned a lot of interesting, but also surprising information. I´m now more aware of products I buy for my family. In the event “Rice of the World” I used my recipe of milk rice with Granko which was popular mainly between kids of Oyarzun. We became friends with cookers from Spain and Morroco.
Many experiences are deeply etched in my memory and I´m so grateful.
